Incremental grouping

Newly added photos are grouped as they are indexed, so Clean Up Similar Photos no longer rescans the whole library after the first complete pass.

Adjust groups while processing

Browse and change a group while the scan is still running; space estimates and the recommended photo keep updating as more groups are refined.

Resumable scan and refinement

Scan and refinement progress is saved automatically, so an interrupted cleanup continues instead of starting over.

Keep or delete whole groups

Act on an entire group in one step, with fixes for selection and preview mismatches inside a group.

Large libraries and iPad

Faster processing on large libraries, an improved iPad layout, and better reliability when Photos access is limited to selected photos.
